Pet Rescue, Animal Shelters and Humane Groups

If you are associated with an animal rescue group, an animal shelter or a humane organization and you publish or would like to publish a blog, newsletter or magazine, Lorie is proud to be able to offer her professional services as a writer.

Lorie will provide written material for your publication at no charge to you. She is willing to make this contribution because she believes strongly in your cause.

Articles may be on any subject you choose and any length you specify. If you do not have a specific subject request, Lorie will be happy to make suggestions for you. Lorie does ask that you provide photos to accompany the articles, preferably photos of the animals in your care. 

Requirements

-Group must be a pet rescue, animal shelter or other type of humane society group or organization. Local groups (from any area in the US) are not only welcome but encouraged to Contact Information.
-Group must be committed to saving animal lives, must endorse spaying/neutering of pets, must promote responsible pet ownership and are encouraged to provide educational materials for new pet owners on the proper care of a pet. (Lorie can help you write these educational materials if necessary.)
-Lorie must be given a byline (credit) for the article (i.e. by Lorie Huston, DVM).
-Photos of animals currently in the charge of the organization and available for adoption are suggested to accompany the article, but are not required.
-A brief testimonial or recommendation which can be placed in Lorie's portfolio would be appreciated if you are satisfied with her work.
- A tear sheet (copy of the article) or link to the article must be provided to Lorie after publication.
