Lorie Huston, aka The Voice of Pet Care, is a long time veterinarian, an expert in pet health and pet care and a freelance author.
Lorie began her freelance career in 2001 when she realized that there was a need for accurate, well-written information about pet care. Faced with veterinary clients who were presenting information obtained from online as well as print sources which was inaccurate or even dangerous, Lorie set out to provide accurate, up-to-date information about pet health and pet care which would be available to all pet owners.
Since then, Lorie has written hundreds of articles pertaining to the care and well-being of dogs, cats and other pets while continuing to practice veterinary medicine.
